What does a psychotherapist from Mentalii do in the last days of summer vacation? \ud83c\udf1e\ud83d\udcda She learns! \u2728<\/span>

In the final three days of August,\u00a0Patrycja Balicka<\/strong>\u00a0took part in a workshop on\u00a0Family Therapy in Gestalt Psychotherapy<\/em>, led by the renowned Prof. Giovanni Salonia \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9 from the Gestalt Kairos Institute. Patrycja has been developing her skills at the Kairos Institute for many years, drawing on the rich experience of this respected center \ud83c\udf3f.Three Polish-Italian days \ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf1\ud83e\udd1d\ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9 were filled with a wealth of experience and knowledge \ud83d\udca1. Participants also had the opportunity to observe Giovanni Salonia working with families \ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83d\udc67\u200d\ud83d\udc66. The workshop addressed, among others, the following topics:\u2022\u00a0GESTALT FAMILY THERAPY MODEL<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83c\udf00 \u2013 the model emphasizes the importance of awareness of the quality of contact, stemming from the functions of the Self, and in particular from the function of the Family Self. The interventions aim to open both a relational perspective (from symptom to relationship) and an evolutionary perspective (as the next phase of the evolutionary cycle of the model).\u2022\u00a0RELATIONAL COMMUNICATION STYLES AND MODEL<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83d\udcac \u2013 contemporary psychotherapy faces new challenges due to social and cultural changes \ud83c\udf0d. Over the past twenty years, people have been confronted with the need to live in equal relationships \u2764\ufe0f\ud83e\udd32 \u2013 true equality in intimate contexts such as couples or families, as well as in social life, work, and friendships.
